Baseball Recap: Beaverhead County Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Butte Central Catholic

Beaverhead County faced Butte Central Catholic in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Beavers fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 5-4. The Beavers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Maroons earlier this season, when they won 8-3.

Beaverhead County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trenton Moreni, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Beaverhead County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Butte Central Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-5.
