Basketball Recap: Justus Williams Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Shasta

Enterprise's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They managed a 53-48 victory over the Shasta Wolves. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Enterprise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justus Williams led the charge by putting up 11 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points Williams has posted since back in February of 2024. Ja'Kye Rawls was another key player, going 5 for 12 en route to 13 points and five assists.

Enterprise's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-6. As for Shasta, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Enterprise will welcome Foothill at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Foothill will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Enterprise surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shasta, they will take on Chico at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Shasta is facing Chico at the right time seeing as Chico is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
