Softball Recap: La Pine Hawks vs. Harrisburg Eagles

There's no place like home for La Pine, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-9 win over the Harrisburg Eagles on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for La Pine considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Jade Seymour was incredible, going 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Cortanie Hendry, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

La Pine pushed their record up to 5-5-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs per game. As for Harrisburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.
