Volleyball Recap: Dakota Takes a Loss

Dakota was the 2-0 winner over Utica Ford when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons on Saturday.

Dakota's loss dropped their record down to 5-9-2. As for Utica Ford, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9-2 record this season.

Dakota wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Port Huron Northern on the 20th. As for Utica Ford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Chippewa Valley on the 22nd.
