Faith Christian Academy will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Christ Covenant, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Conquerors came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Conquerors.
While Faith Christian Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Christ Covenant scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 25-21.
Meanwhile, New Bern Christian Academy got the win against Jacksonville Christian Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.
The win didn't come easy: Jacksonville Christian Academy scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.
Faith Christian Academy better keep an eye on Bella Lawrence. She was instrumental in New Bern Christian Academy's win, getting seven digs and three aces.
New Bern Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jacksonville Christian Academy only served eight.
Faith Christian Academy's record is now 5-7. As for New Bern Christian Academy, their record now sits at 14-4.
Faith Christian Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to New Bern Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in August of 2024. Can the Conquerors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
