Basketball Recap: Neah-Kah-Nie Takes a Loss

Neah-Kah-Nie lost against Yamhill-Carlton on January 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates took a 41-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers. That's two games in a row now that the Pirates have lost by exactly eight points.

This is the second loss in a row for Neah-Kah-Nie and nudges their season record down to 10-7. As for Yamhill-Carlton, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Neah-Kah-Nie is taking a road trip to square off against Seaside at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Seaside will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Neah-Kah-Nie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Yamhill-Carlton, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Riverdale at 6:00 p.m.
