Baseball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Streetsboro hit Springfield with a eight-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Spartans came up short against the Rockets, falling 10-2. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Streetsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
