Pickens is 8-2 against Travelers Rest since September of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Blue Flame will head out on the road to take on the Devildogs at 7:30 p.m. Pickens will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Travelers Rest, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Berea with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Devildogs in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won eight in a row.

One reason for the win was Travelers Rest's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-9.

Pickens' record is now 25-4. As for Travelers Rest, their record now sits at 8-16-1.

Pickens took their victory against Travelers Rest in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Flame since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
