Volleyball Recap: Clements Comes Up Short

Clements was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrence County Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Colts of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14.

Lawrence County was led to victory by Reagan Smith and Ellie Gilliland. Smith had ten digs, while Gilliland had.

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Lawrence County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-12 record this season.

Clements will venture away from home to take on East Limestone at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence County, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against West Morgan on the 15th.
