Volleyball Recap: Bolles Takes a Loss

Bolles managed to slip by Trinity Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Conquerors on Monday. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

While Bolles was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Trinity Christian Academy's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 27-25.

Sophia Albaugh paced Bolles' offense, picking up nine kills. Albaugh got some help from Lily Adams and her 16 assists. Adams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Bolles' loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolles will host Oakleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will take on Tocoi Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
