Basketball Recap: Fort Cobb-Broxton Comes Up Short

Fort Cobb-Broxton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 49-38 to the Central Bronchos. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bronchos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Fort Cobb-Broxton's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Central, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Cobb-Broxton will venture away from home to face off against Amber-Pocasset at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to take on Ringling at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Central is facing Ringling at the right time seeing as Ringling is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
