Sierra Canyon, Bishop Gorman and Brophy College Prep join the defending national champs along with 12 of Oregon's top teams.

Annually one of the top holiday events in high school basketball, the Les Schwab Invitational announced its 2022 field Friday. The 26th annual event will take place Dec. 26-30 at Liberty High School in Hillsboro, Ore.

Duncanville is the defending MaxPreps National Champion and returns four players who started 26 or more games last season headlined by reigning MaxPreps National Junior of the Year Ronald Holland.

Bishop Gorman fell one game short of setting the national record with a 10th consecutive state championship last season, falling to Liberty in the title game. The Gaels feature a trio of top 50 prospects in John Mobley Jr., Jase Richardson and Chris Nwuli.

Sierra Canyon finished the season ranked just outside the MaxPreps Top 25 in 2021-22 after going 26-5. The Trailblazers feature both of LeBron James' sons Bronny and Bryce along with five-star guard Isaiah Elohim.

Brophy College Prep finished 25-3 last season after advancing to the state semifinal. The Broncos are led by Arman Madi and Braeden Speed.

Joining the out-of-state schools are Beaver State teams Barlow (Gresham), Beaverton, Central Catholic (Portland), Cleveland (Portland), Grant (Portland), Jesuit (Portland), Lake Oswego, Lincoln (Portland), Roosevelt (Portland), Tigard, Tualatin and West Linn.
