Basketball Recap: Wheeler Gets the Win

The Wheeler Warriors beat the Beaver Country Day Beaver 68-56 on Wednesday.

Danielle Davidson was a one-woman wrecking crew as she went 13-for-22 to rack up 33 points along with six steals and three blocks. Davidson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashna Jayaraman, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 16 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Wheeler now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Wheeler will face off against Pingree at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Beaver Country Day, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Berwick Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
