Volleyball Recap: Lockport Takes a Loss

Lockport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Bolingbrook Raiders. The Porters were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

While Lockport had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19.

Adam Gieser paced Lockport's offense, picking up ten kills. Gieser got some help from Ryan Dziadkowiec and his ten assists.

Lockport's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Bolingbrook, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Lockport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Joliet Catholic on the 10th. As for Bolingbrook, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Plainfield Central on the 10th.
