Football Recap: Lanett Starts Season with Victory at Home

Lanett gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Valley Rams by a score of 24-14.

Valley is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Valley will face off against Loachapoka at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lanett will be paying especially close attention to the Rams' contest: after the Rams face off against the Indians, they'll take on Lanett again at 6:00 p.m. on October 1.
