Volleyball Recap: Kings Mountain Mountaineers vs. North Iredell Raiders

Kings Mountain and North Iredell squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Kings Mountain had to settle for second. They came up short against the North Iredell Raiders, falling 3-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Mountaineers were not able to get on the board.

Kings Mountain took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 26-24.

London Brown paced Kings Mountain's offense, picking up 16 kills. Brown got some help from Camden Pasour and her 33 assists.

With the defeat, Kings Mountain broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 27-3. As for North Iredell, the victory (which was their 25th in a row) raised their record to 28-2.

Kings Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Iredell, they will head out to face off against West Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
