Basketball Game Preview: Manual Thunderbolts vs. Ellicott Thunderhawks

The Manual Thunderbolts will challenge the Ellicott Thunderhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Manual is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Manual managed to slip by Kennedy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Manual took a blow against Kennedy on Tuesday, falling 71-38. The Thunderbolts were down 50-26 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Manual's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Dayjah Fox, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds, and Jaci Collins-Falcon, who posted 17 points and six boards. Fox is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last 22 games she's played dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Ellicott unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 50-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Vanguard School.

Ellicott's defeat dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Manual, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 16-5.
