Springstead has no trouble against Cypress Creek

The Springstead Eagles had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Cypress Creek on Monday as Springstead made off with a 48-24 win. With Springstead ahead 27-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Malanie Francis was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 22 points along with 8 rebounds. Samantha Suarez was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 6 assists.
Springstead's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Cypress Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Springstead will head out on the road to face off against River Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sunlake at 7:30 p.m. on November 28th.
