Basketball Recap: Design Tech's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Design Tech lost against Pacific Bay Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Design Tech Dragons took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacific Bay Christian Eagles. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pacific Bay Christian found their leader in sophomore Brady Strickland, who went 11 of 23 en route to 28 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Strickland has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jared Balantakbo, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Design Tech's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for Pacific Bay Christian, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

While Design Tech had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
