Basketball Recap: Elkhorn North Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Elkhorn North won the last time they faced Gretna East and things went their way on Tuesday too. Elkhorn North walked away with a 50-37 victory over the Gretna East Griffins. Given Elkhorn North's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Gretna East is ranked 34th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Several Griffins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Drayke Brown, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 12 points. Drew Rhoades was another key player, putting up six points.
