League recap: McClellan stuns Little Rock Christian Academy in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to McClellan, who took down 85th ranked Little Rock Christian Academy, 35-28.

Pulaski Academy's Tyler Colquitt rumbled for the longest rushing play in 5A Central this season in his game against Jacksonville last week. Colquitt's team topped the Red Devils as he sprinted for 59 yards on the play and finished with 67 in all.

Pulaski Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Lawson Vassar threw for 387 and four touchdowns and Hunter Henry had 122 yards receiving. Daniel Vogel helped Pulaski Academy's passing attack out by catching 13 balls for 99 yards.

Pulaski Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bruins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Vassar has thrown for 3689 yards and 40 touchdowns this season, while LJ Wallace has 98 catches for 1439 yards. Jairus Porter leads the league in rushing with 471 yards.

Kevin Kelley's team's Henry is only 20 receiving yards away from breaking 1,000 receiving yards this season as he enters this week's game against the Vilonia. So far this year, he has garnered 77 catches for 980 yards.

The Bruins extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Jacksonville, 51-7. The win marks seventh in a row for the Pulaski Academy.
