Basketball Recap: Brewbaker Tech Falls Short of Andalusia in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Brewbaker Tech can now relate to. They fell 38-31 to the Andalusia Bulldogs on Monday. The Rams have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Brewbaker Tech still got an impressive performance from Kennedi Mcghee, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Mcghee has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more boards the last 33 times she's played. Tariya Respicio was another key player, putting up four points and five assists.

Brewbaker Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Andalusia, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Brewbaker Tech will head out on the road to face off against Eufaula at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Andalusia, they will welcome Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
