Soccer Recap: Chapin Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Chapin finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to the El Paso Tigers. That makes it the first time this season the Huskies have let down their home crowd.

Chapin's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for El Paso, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Chapin and El Paso should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Chapin will challenge Jefferson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday up 313 places (167 vs. 480). Chapin will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Similarly, El Paso (ranked 91st) will meet Andress (ranked 401st) at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
