It was a good run, but Calvary Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Brossart Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Bishop Brossart, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will welcome Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bishop Brossart, they will host Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
