Soccer Recap: Mission Veterans Memorial Comes Up Short

Mission Veterans Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rio Grande City Rattlers. The Patriots were not able to make up for their loss to the Rattlers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Mission Veterans Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Rio Grande City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Mission Veterans Memorial will take on Mission at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rio Grande City, they will host Martin at 8:00 p.m. on January 28th.
