The biggest upset of the week belonged to Vernonia, who took down 127th ranked Nestucca, 7-2.
Portland Christian extended the longest winning streak in 2A Northwest this week by beating Gaston, 33-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Royals.
Portland Christian's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Steven Mumford has thrown for 1150 yards and 14 touchdowns this season, while Nathan Mumford has 27 catches for 510 yards. Curtis Farmer leads the league in rushing with 467 yards.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Portland Christian takes on the Bobcats. Cal Szueber's team has allowed 60 points this season, while Nestucca has given up 96. The Royals allowed 0 points last week as they bested the Greyhounds.
Knappa made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,538 from 13,567. The advance stemmed from a 52-0 victory over Neah-Kah-Nie last week.
