Palisade won the last time they faced Pagosa Springs and things went their way on Friday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pirates.

Palisade's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bo Reimer led the charge by getting five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Reimer has posted since back in September. Hadley Fenske also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Palisade was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matchups.

Palisade's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Pagosa Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Palisade will take on Glenwood Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Demons will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pagosa Springs, they will welcome Rifle at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
