Basketball Recap: Glenpool Comes Up Short

Glenpool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-39 heartbreaker at the hands of Webster. Glenpool lost against Webster in their previous head to head back in December of 2018, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-25 score last time.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chandler Roney, who posted eight points. Another player making a difference was Joe Perales, who had eight points.

Glenpool's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Webster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Glenpool will take on Tahlequah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Webster, they will square off against Wilson-Henryetta at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
