Softball Recap: Chapin Comes Up Short

Chapin's last matchup with Berkeley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Stags, falling 6-0. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Chapin's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Berkeley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Chapin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berkeley, they will take on Lucy Beckham at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
