Basketball Recap: Thursday's Victory Is Tri-City Christian Academy's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Tri-City Christian Academy extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Fulvio Dos Santos. The Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors blew past Phoenix School of Academic Excellence 90-34 on Thursday thanks in part to Dos Santos, who dropped a double-double on 46 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was his 15th in a row with at least ten points.

Levi Mestler was another key player, as he made all 6 shots he took to post 12 points and six boards. What's more, he also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Tri-City Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Phoenix School of Academic Excellence, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Tri-City Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Berean Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tri-City Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. As for Phoenix School of Academic Excellence, they will venture away from home to challenge Sonoran Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
