Soccer Game Preview: Bishop Gorman vs. Centennial

The Bishop Gorman Gaels will head out on the road to face off against the Centennial Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Gorman's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Bishop Gorman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Arbor View, who was ranked seventh at the time (Bishop Gorman was ranked ninth). The Gaels came up short against the Aggies on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Centennial managed to keep up with Faith Lutheran until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Centennial haven't been shut out since back in September.

Bishop Gorman's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-3. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1.

Bishop Gorman beat Centennial by a goal in their previous meeting back in September, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gaels since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
