John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Cristo Rey Saints with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Tuesday.

John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-20, 25-20.

Isaac Smith paced John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills' offense, picking up 14 kills. Smith got some help from Allen Babchanik and his 23 assists. Babchanik was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills' win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Cristo Rey, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

After both having extra time off, John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills and Faith Christian will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cristo Rey, they will take on Sacramento Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
