Basketball Recap: La Grande Comes Up Short

La Grande was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pendleton Buckaroos. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buckaroos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

La Grande's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Pendleton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Grande will take on Ontario at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pendleton has already played their next contest (against Baker), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
