Baseball Recap: Corner Canyon Gets the Win

Corner Canyon hadn't done well against Riverton recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Chargers had just enough and edged out the Silverwolves 6-5. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Silverwolves on Tuesday, they had to take a 7-3 loss.

The team relied heavily on Drew Whatcott, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Corner Canyon is 8-1 when Whatcott posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Downing, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
