Baseball Recap: GMG Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

GMG hadn't done well against Colo-NESCO recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Wolverines walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Royals. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Royals back in May, they had to take a 11-9 defeat.

GMG's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-9. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Colo-NESCO, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

GMG has already played their next game (against BCLUW), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Colo-NESCO, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-4 loss against Collins-Maxwell on the 26th.
