Softball Recap: Forest Comes Up Short

Forest lost against Simsboro back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Tigers, falling 12-2.

Forest has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Simsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season.

Forest will welcome Bastrop at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Simsboro, they will venture away from home to challenge Haynesville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
