Recap: Dunbar Wolverines vs. Stivers School for the Arts Tigers
The Dunbar Wolverines lost against the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Dunbar fell 52-44 to Stivers School for the Arts. Dunbar has not had much luck with Stivers School for the Arts recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite the loss, Dunbar still got an impressive performance from Rayne Manson, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Zaria Ballard, who scored 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Dunbar's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Stivers School for the Arts, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Dunbar will be playing in front of their home fans against Meadowdale at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Meadowdale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Monday. As for Stivers School for the Arts, they will head out on the road to face off against Belmont at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Belmont is ranked 472nd, while Stivers School for the Arts is ranked 482nd).
