Football Recap: Billingsley Takes a Loss

Billingsley lost against Isabella back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears took a 28-16 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Although Billingsley took the loss, they still got scores from Trent Cobern and Dequavion Ray.

Billingsley now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Isabella, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-3.

Coming up, Billingsley is taking a road trip to challenge Ellwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Isabella, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Highland Home at 7:00 p.m.
