Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Rhen Staudacher and Tessa New Lead Parkview Christian Academy to Victory

Parkview Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They strolled past the Reavis Rams with points to spare, taking the game 64-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Leading Parkview Christian Academy to victory were Tessa New and Rhen Staudacher. New shot 53% from the field on her way to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals, while Staudacher went 7-for-12 en route to 22 points and eight boards. Those 21 points gave New a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Carlyle, who posted seven points and nine rebounds.

Parkview Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Parkview Christian Academy and Reavis will both be playing Westmont the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Falcons will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
