Parma scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took an 81-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marsing Huskies. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (59), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

It was another big night for Juan Ponce, who went 10 for 23 on his way to 31 points in addition to five assists and three steals for Marsing. The match was Ponce's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Teagan Kinney, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards.

Parma's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Marsing, their record is now 6-3.

Parma won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Vale at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Parma has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Marsing, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Melba at 7:30 p.m.
