Volleyball Recap: Jersey Mccasland's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Trinity Christian over All S

Trinity Christian lost against All S back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Saints. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-23.

Trinity Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jersey McCasland, who had 20 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Cecily Kaufman, who had 18 assists and seven digs.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for All S, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Coincidentally, Trinity Christian and All S will both be playing Grapevine Faith Christian the next time they take the court. The Saints will host the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
