Valley Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gahr Gladiators 41-0. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Defenders had established a 27-point advantage.

Graham Lunzer had a dynamite game, throwing for 173 yards and three TDs on only 11 passes, while also rushing for 38 yards and one score. Valley Christian also got help from Byron Louis, who showed off his sure hands for 92 receiving yards.
