Baseball Game Preview: Southern Guilford Storm vs. High Point Central Bison

The Southern Guilford Storm will face off against the High Point Central Bison at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Southern Guilford has four straight wins, High Point Central has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Southern Guilford's victory against Atkins wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Southern Guilford sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Atkins on Friday.

Meanwhile, High Point Central came up short against Northeast Guilford on Friday, falling 21-4.

Southern Guilford's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for High Point Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Southern Guilford's way against High Point Central when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Southern Guilford made off with a 16-2 win.
