Softball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Eagle Rock's 14th in Last 15 Outings

Eagle Rock barely beat Bravo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Knights 7-1 on Monday. Considering the Eagles have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Marcella Terrazas made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Eagle Rock got a big performance out of Marysol Jernigan, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Dalaine Trujillo was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Eagle Rock was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .393 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
