Softball Recap: Spackenkill Comes Up Short

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Spackenkill was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against the New Paltz Huguenots, falling 8-2. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Huguenots recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Spackenkill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cadie Hanaburgh, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another was Lilly Lindell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Spackenkill's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for New Paltz, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

As of now, neither Spackenkill nor the Huguenots have any future games scheduled.
