While Harbor Beach's win against Capac wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Chiefs 3-2 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Harbor Beach who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 25-18, 19-25, 17-15.

Jada Schave paced Harbor Beach's offense, picking up 12 kills. Schave got some help from Keltie Deer and her 24 assists. Schave was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Harbor Beach's win bumped their record up to 12-14-3. As for Capac, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17-1.
