Baseball Game Preview: Penquis Valley Patriots vs. Searsport Vikings

Penquis Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caiden Fowles, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Fowles is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Searsport, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Jonesport-Beals on Tuesday, sneaking past 15-14. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Penquis Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Searsport, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
