Baseball Recap: Fort Hamilton Takes a Loss

Fort Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 11-1 to the Madison Golden Knights. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Golden Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Fort Hamilton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cy Greenblat, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Greenblat has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.

Fort Hamilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for Madison, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-10.

While Fort Hamilton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
