Volleyball Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Risco Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bluejays of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Charleston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Risco, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6-1 record this season.

Charleston will be playing in front of their home fans against Scott City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Risco, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hayti on the 25th.
