The Washington Township Senators will challenge the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Washington Township will head into Tuesday's game on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against LaVille on Tuesday. Washington Township put the hurt on LaVille with a sharp 52-30 victory. The Senators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.

Washington Township's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Clair Klinger, who went 5 for 11 en route to 14 points and four steals, and Gracie Little, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points along with five assists and five steals. The game was Little's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaycee Jackson, who posted ten points.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Washington Township was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as LaVille only racked up five assists.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kouts). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging a 76-17 win over Boone Grove. The Mustangs & Fillies pushed the score to 63-15 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolves had no chance of recovering from.
Washington Township better keep an eye on Ellie Nemeth. She was instrumental in Kouts' win, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds. Sophia Tikalsky was another key player, putting up ten points and four steals.
Kouts has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Washington Township, their victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Washington Township has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 25.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Kouts struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33.4 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Washington Township skirted past Kouts 48-46 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Washington Township since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
